A New DVD about Eurythmy
Eurythmy is rarely photographed and almost never filmed, so the appearance of an hour-long DVD whose sole subject is eurythmy is a unique event. Produced by Hagens Recording Studio, filmed and edited by Sam Russell, and conceived and written by Eugene Schwartz, this DVD takes a comprehensive look at eurythmy on the stage, in education, and in everyday life. The extensive footage of eurythmy in the Waldorf school classroom -- grades one, five, seven, eight, and eleven are all represented -- is unprecedented, and that is just a small part of the video. A remarkable stage performance by the Goetheanum Eurythmy group is the centerpiece of the DVD, which also includes extensive interviews with leading eurythmists, as well as Virginia Sease and Eugene Schwartz.
This hour-long video is on a DVD, and is available in three versions: a standard DVD, a Blu-Ray DVD (for high-definition DVD players) and a PAL DVD, for systems outside of North America.
